MINDSET & AWARENESS
Skills you can use anywhere. Learn to identify, assess, and nullify threats (natural or man-made) while leveraging environment to your advantage. Environment (anything in, on, or around you) is the first consideration in any scenario, communicates what’s required to solve and dictates the action needed—which is why an informed awareness is critical for self-protection before a situation requires contact. (This is an independent module and an integrated layer of all training.)
ESSENTIAL COMBATIVES
Dynamic self-defense training for anyone. Quickly build a core platform of multi-purpose combat skill to maneuver and counter the main categories of attacks in the shortest amount of time. The training develops acute awareness, proprioception, attack recognition, critical thinking, quick decision-making and evasive maneuver tactics. Includes essential level striking, grappling (standing or grounded), as well as an introduction to using environment and equalizers.
INTEGRATED SELF-PROTECTION
Contextual points of protection. Learn countermeasures for grabs, holds, chokes, punches, kicks, takedowns, ground survival, multiple opponents, and weapon altercations. If an assailant breaches your zone of protection or you’re caught you off-guard, countermeasures are needed to nullify the attack and regain the advantage. Making the distinction between self-protection and self-defense, this module pinpoints the most probable, contextual scenarios with an efficient training method.
EQUALIZERS and FORCE MULTIPLIERS
Integrated tools and tactics. When a disparity of force or a weapon is involved, and escaping is not an option, a force multiplier (an equalizer) effectively increases your survivability. This concise training brings it all together. You’ll quickly develop a proven skill set using everyday carry tools and items from your immediate environment for self-protection. It addresses the justifiable use-of-force in any situation and validates how disparities (size, strength, multiple attackers, weapons) are approached.
SCENARIO TRAINING
Simulating the experience. Physical simulations with environmental factors enables deeper, more realistic learning. This is done by providing context and engaging everyday environmental factors such as architecture, barriers, cars, manmade and natural terrain, high-low-no-light conditions, individual and social scenarios. The process allows you to benchmark and refine your ability to adapt while testing your decision-making and physical skill through a multi-level progression.
COMBAT CONDITIONING
Outperform the threat. When skills and tactics end, grit and conditioning can be a deciding factor. Radius Factor training includes specialized speed and agility training through martial mechanics, maneuver tactics and stamina to gain advantage over the threat. It’s double-factor training that enhances your survival with explosive, practical martial movements and cross-training modalities.
